The UNAIDS is offering an exciting opportunity for students and recent graduates to join its Internship Programme 2026. This program provides a unique chance to gain hands-on experience while contributing to global efforts to end the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

About UNAIDS

The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS leads and inspires the world in achieving zero new HIV infections, zero discrimination, and zero AIDS-related deaths. UNAIDS brings together 11 UN agencies, including:

  • UNICEF
  • World Health Organization
  • UNESCO
  • World Bank
  • UNDP

Together, they work toward ending AIDS by 2030 as part of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Programme Objective

The UNAIDS Internship Programme aims to:

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify, applicants must:

  • Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate program
    OR
  • Have graduated within the last 12 months

Additional requirements:

  • Must be at least 20 years old
  • Must have working knowledge of at least one official language:
    • English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, or Russian
